Buy from local growers through our online Food Hub
Food For Thought is a multi-week, sustainable-living program. The program has been run multiple times as a free grant-funded program with local participants, covering a wide range of topics including raising seedlings, growing fruit and vegetables, composting, habitat gardening, herbs, and permaculture design.
We hope to continue to offer this program to the community.
Growing Together actively engages young people in our local food systems. We are currently developing educational and training programs to teach youth how to grow food and understand sustainable food networks. Looking ahead, we will also involve local schools in the design and implementation of our new Community Hub.
Growing Together South Coast has a proven track record, having delivered numerous grant-funded youth workshops across the Milton–Ulladulla area. Covering everything from nature-connection activities to growing and cooking food, these programs connect young people to the land and foster the next generation of food advocates.
In 2025 we developed an initiative within a broader strategic framework designed to foster youth development, expand economic opportunities, and strengthen work and life skills for teenagers and young adults across the South Coast. Delivered in collaboration with SAGE, Growing Together South Coast, Grow the Future, the Office of Regional Youth, and the Southern NSW Drought and Innovation Hub, the program focused on primary industries, sustainable agriculture, and the emerging circular economy.
Growing Together delivered an in-school program for students at Vincentia High School, along with several after-school workshops aimed at youth engagement, skill development, and employment pathways. The program culminated in a gathering of all partner organisations and youth participants in Moruya.
