Food Cycle

Food Cycle was a sustainable waste-management program run by Growing Together South Coast, made possible through funding from Elders Insurance. 

The program focused on educating the public and local hospitality businesses about composting and waste management, while developing a vermicompost system to collect food waste from participating businesses.

As part of this program, we built a custom worm farm that constantly cycles the liquid between several worm farms, a sump tank, and a reservoir. We will make this design publicly available soon.
