Buy from local growers through our online Food Hub
Growing Together South Coast is a community-driven, not-for-profit organisation passionate about food, resilience, and community connection. Based in Milton NSW, we formed with the belief that communities are stronger, more resilient and better connected when they have a strong local food culture and supply.ย
Our journey, began with the creation of a market garden and community outreach programs to connect people to the land, their food and each other.
๐ The Community Hub: back in 2024 we started the process of searching for land for a new community garden and hub in the Milton-Ulladulla area. It has been a long process but in June 2026 we finally signed a lease to start our Community Hub in the Milton Showground. This will be an open, multi-use space for the area that we are really excited to offer the community. We are currently planning to launch the hub in Spring 2026. Find out more or get involved.
๐พ Growing Food: Our first garden, 101 is a functioning market garden that also acts as a demonstration site. It includes a market garden with polytunnel, worm farm composting system that takes food waste from local businesses and more recently a Syntropic Agroforestry section. Find out more about 101.
๐ The Hive: Thanks to funding from Community Bank South Coast we have built a new training and community event area, The Hive! It was built by the community through workshops using natural materials! The Hive will have regular events and is also available as an outdoor space for to other community groups. Find out more about The Hive
๐งโ๐พ Connecting Growers to Community: In early 2026 we started an online food hub to help support local growers and supply their food directly to the public. As part of the online food hub we are also supplying local food relief organisations with fresh, naturally grown vegetables every week! View our online Food Hub.
๐ Programs and Education: We regularly apply for grants to run programs focused on permaculture, regenerative agriculture, sustainability, and health and wellbeing. These initiatives include our regular Food For Thought program, youth programs, and a range of other community projects. We were also recently successful in securing a grant to establish a local Growers Network. See all our programs.
